Ranch variety are our earliest ripening variety. They have vigorous growth and are very hardy in our Zone 4 in SE MN. We typically cut the canes back in the Fall to help prevent disease and provide uniform ripening. Each cane will have two nodes to send out shoots and roots. Canes will be cut in late February/early March and be ready for propagating.
